From Herrsching S-Bahn follow the Kienbach up a shady gorge to Andechs Monastery. Return through the woods or the same way.

Getting to the start
The S8 runs from Munich to Herrsching, minutes from the lake. On the west shore the Ammersee line stops at Utting, Schondorf and Dießen.
