The route
From Tegernsee station, the Prinzenweg climbs to the Neureuth inn at 1,261 m with views over the lake to the Karwendel. Descend via Sagfleck back to town.
Who is this walk for?
This walk needs stamina and sure feet on mountain paths. It is usually too long for small children.

Getting to the start
The Bayerische Regiobahn runs directly from Munich main station to Gmund and Tegernsee. At weekends the roads are often jammed and car parks full early, so the train is usually the better choice.
