Allgäu ridge walk from Hochgrat to Mittag.
The route
Start at the top of the Hochgrat cable car and walk over Rindalphorn, Stuiben and Steineberg to the Mittag above Immenstadt. The Mittag cable car takes you down.

This walk is only for experienced hikers who are sure-footed with a head for heights. Go only in settled weather.

Getting to the start
Immenstadt has a station on the Oberstdorf line, about 3 km from the lake.
Out and back. Best time: June to October. Distances and times are guide values. Check weather, trail conditions and train times before you set off.
